SUOMINEN TO START EMPLOYEE NEGOTIATIONS AT TAMPERE AND NASTOLA PLANTS

Suominen Flexible Packaging will start employee negotiations on 3 March 2008 at
Tampere and Nastola plants. Possible headcount reduction is approximately 50
persons.

The employee negotiations will be started due to weakening profitability of
Flexible Packaging's Finnish plants. The aim of the negotiations is to secure
the Company's competitiveness and operational viability in the future.
