SUOMINEN CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 11 JUNE 2010 AT 3:45 P.M. SUOMINEN CORPORATION'S BOARD MEMBER MR. HEIKKI MAIRINOJA SENTENCED TO PAY A FINE FOR INFORMATION OFFENCES Suominen Corporation's Board Member Mr. Heikki Mairinoja has been prosecuted for a securities markets information offence related to Perlos Corporation's duty of information at the turn of the year 2002 - 2003. Helsinki District Court has on 27 June 2008 dismissed the charges. Helsinki Court of Appeal has on 11 June 2010 issued a decision, according to which it amended the decision of the District Court and sentenced Mr. Heikki Mairinoja to pay a fine for information offences between 11 December 2002 and 15 January 2003. The company shall, due to the matter, file with the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority an application for the approval of a supplement of the prospectus dated 4 June 2010 related to the company's rights offering. The company will inform of the supplement separately.
